A training to develop “Managerial Skills” of Branch Managers of MFIs was organized by CSD in Kathmandu from January 7-9, 2019 (Poush 23-25, 2075) to enhance managerial skill level of the branch managers on branch management.
The training program was designed as a compact course to enhance the managerial skills on improving their efficiency in delivering credits, managing staffs and above all managing their clients and achieve organizational goal. The training focused simultaneously on instilling participants with the aptitude to build good relationships with clients and maintain credit discipline. The training also provided an opportunity for sharing management practices, financial management and team building methods amongst the participants. The classroom session delivery and discussion aimed to acquaint them with the tools of managing branch effectively and efficiently to improve their knowledge and skills in financial analysis and program planning, and budgeting. Also, client development, positive thinking, self development and monitoring and supervision of their clients were also comprehensively covered during various sessions. And from the feedback and evaluation of training by participants, it can be concluded that the program helped to achieve the objective set for the training.
There were 25 participants from 11 MFI's namely: Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., National Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Mero Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Nepal Women Community Service Center, Shree Udayadev Bahuuddeshiya Sahakari Sanstha Ltd., Environment Development Cooperative Organization Ltd., Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Ltd., Kisan Bahuudeshiya Sahakari Sanstha Ltd.
