Shree Udaydev Bahuudeshiya Sahakari Sanstha Limited commenced its operation in 1999 in Kanchanpur district of far-west Nepal. It is registered under the Division Cooperative Office and has included the Tharus, Dalits, Janajatis and other marginalized communities in its program. With the goal of cintributing towards poverty alleviation by bringing positive changes in the socio-economic level of its members, it initiated its microfinance program in the year 2007. It has fostered savings habit among its members and encourages them to borrow small loan amounts to to invest in income generating activities. For its impressive work and contribution, the organixation was awarded the 'Best Co-operative'in 2059 B.S. by the National Cooperative Union Ltd., Kathmandu.
