The Centre for Self-help Development (CSD) have awarded three best entrepreneur members and one best entrepreneurship development organization for their outstanding performance on the Entrepreneur Development. The award was handed on the occasion of 4th National Microfinance Member’s Summit 2024, Feb 17-18 (2080 Falgun 5-6) Kathmandu.
Among them Ms.Nasima Khatun from Biratnagar-17, of Morang district, the member of the Jeevan Bikash Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., Ms.Menuka Shrestha from Hetauda-4, of Makawanpur district, the member of the Chimmek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. and Ms.Kamalapati Kumari Dagaura from Ghodaghodi-3, of Kailali district, the member of the Kishan Bahuudeshiya Sahakari Sanstha Ltd. each of the three awardees received a cash prize of Rs. 25 thousand along with the letter of appreciation. Among the awardees, Ms.Nasima Khatun is a successful solid waste recycle entrepreneur, Ms.Menuka Shrestha is a successful tailoring entrepreneur, and Ms.Kamalapati Kumari Dagaura is running a successful banana farm & pigery.
Simultaneously, the Jeevan Bikash Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. won the best entrepreneurship development award for this year initiating entrepreneurship among the member & its outstanding contribution into raising the standard of living of the deprived families by providing Microfinance services in a very effective and efficient manner.
